What do you fight for?

Since starting my personal development journey, I've longed to make something special of my life. I wanted to become someone special. However, after repeated failed efforts, I've realized that greatness isn't something I will grow into. It's something brought out of me by a worthy endeavor.
For most of my life, I sought to be a great fighter without reflecting on what was worth fighting for. I forced myself to pursue goals that held little meaning in my life. When I eventually quit, I wondered why I lacked the courage, discipline, and resilience to finish what I set out to accomplish.
While I liked how they sounded, they didn't inspire me to be my best. I believe having something worth fighting for is, in itself, what makes you a great fighter. Not only because you will be fighting for the right reasons, but because of what those reasons will empower you to do. It's not just about how you fight in the Colosseum, but the spirit of the warrior you carry with you everywhere you go.
If you are fighting to be your best self, try to find something worth fighting for. Set a goal to discover a sense of purpose you align with and can surrender to. Devotion to a worthy cause will help you explore a level of courage, discipline, and resilience you would have never thought possible.
